Week 6 Audio for e-learning
This week, I explore the power of digital audio in enhancing effective learning, design and development. I created an audio file to supplement the content presented in my Week 4 video: 12 Steps to Creating an Instructional Video. This talk aims to elaborate on the ideas in Step 1 of making a video: Identify your goal. After listening to this Podcast, the audience will be able to identify in what ways effective instructional videos could address educational issues. The audience can be anyone interested in creating or implementing videos for instructional purposes.
I have three reasons for creating this audio to support the presentation video. Firstly, creating instructional videos is complex involving several considerations and stakeholders. Breaking down the process into 12 simple steps could be useful, on the one hand. On the other hand, simplicity could also cause confusion. Therefore, elaboration on each step could be a great help. Secondly, the first step, which is identifying the goal of the instructional video, is essential. Hence, having a good understanding of why you would like to make a video in the first place would be really useful. Finally, having a clear purpose would optimise the video's quality as it helps guide the following steps.

I made two versions of this digital audio: with my voice and with AI voice to explore the possibility :-)
